TOK Mascara:

Horsetail plant extract

May promote hair growth based on its silica content, impact on collagen and antioxidant properties. It is said to be effective as a topical treatment, with anecdotal evidence and theory suggesting that it may help boost circulation.

A 2015 study found that horsetail plant helped improved hair growth and strength in women.

Pisum Pea Protein Peptide

Delivers conditioning properties and a silky texture to the lashes. This ingredient is produced using a proprietary fermentation process which involves moving hydrolyzed vegetable proteins. It is a complete source of essential amino acids, consisting of 22 amino acids notably rich in lysine.

Bayberry Fruit Wax:

Plant based wax, Ecocert certified and suitable for vegan formulations.

Lip Tonic:

Shea Butter

A fat that has been extracted from shea tree nuts and it’s consistency gives it a nice spreadability for our skincare and lip care products.

Shea butter has anti-inflammatory properties and has been proven to reduce redness as well as creating a soft moisture barrier.

Cocoa Butter

Plant-based fat taken from the cocoa bean and is a rich moisturizing cream. Cocoa butter assists in replenishing the skin’s moisture and creating a barrier to protect your skin from moisture loss, while also helping to maintain its elasticity and tone.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is a vegetable oil derived from the seeds of the castor oil plant Ricinus communis. Castor oil has many potential benefits which include preventing wrinkles, moisturizing and fighting dry lips.

Coconut Oil

The primary benefit of coconut oil is its moisturizing effects. This makes it ideal for chapped lips.

Our lips are sensitive to moisture loss because the skin is so thin and exposed to many elements. Coconut oil is also considered an emollient. Emollients are non-cosmetic moisturizers that help keep the skin moist, and they’re primarily used to protect the skin. They trap moisture in your skin, so these tend to work best immediately after bathing. However, you can apply them throughout the day as needed, especially when considering your lips, which lose moisture more rapidly than the rest of the body.

Avocado Oil

This absorbent oil is thought to have numerous benefits for your skin, like moisturizing dry hands or acting as a natural sunblock. The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and also increased collagen metabolism.

Beeswax

Beeswax is an EWG certified ingredient and is ideal for moisturizing sensitive skin, hydrating the skin and soothing skin conditions.

Silica

Silica is sometimes called the “beauty mineral” because it helps to improve skin elasticity. This ingredient is required for rebuilding collagen.

Hyaluronic Acid
